Dr. Herod was very helpful in explaining my condition. Sometimes doctors are in a hurry and rush through the appointment, then the patient is left with questions and unclear about what is happening to them. Dr. Herod is very knowledgeable, a great listener, and thorough. I would highly recommend!

We are patients of Aurora Denver Cardiology for 14 years. Dr. Herod is very professional. He is listening and answering all questions. His assistant Joseph is amazing. If he promised to call you tomorrow with the answer to the question, then he will definitely do it. If you had a test, he will call you as soon as the result comes and explains everything in detail. Thank you Dr. Herod and Joseph!

Dr. Herod has an ego bigger than himself. He talked way too fast for a deaf person without an interpreter or access to what he was saying during my visit with him. Access is huge when it comes to making any patient feels safe in a doctor s office or in the hospital. If you don t have access you won t want to be there.

Dr. Herod began treating me a few years ago, when my prior cardiologist retired. I really like and trust Dr. Herod. He takes the time to make sure he understands how I'm doing, and he explains things very well. He is very knowledgeable in cardiology, and keeps up to date with the latest research, which is reassuring. He also has a friendly, caring manner.
