Dr. Piontek is a saint. He diagnosed my father in one visit, listened to my concerns "and agreed' with me. He arranged and sent us immediately to another doctor the same day to begin treatment for my dad. I met Piontek in the ER (2004) when my son broke his arm at pre-school - I was so lucky he was on call. Since then he has treated three broken arms, a collar-bone, hand and two knees - all different family members, Love him!

I have had Dr. Piontek for one total knee surgery, a complete shoulder reconstruction and I am currently have my other total knee surgery in 2 weeks. When describing Dr. Piontek to my family and friends, one word that comes to mind and says it all is "meticulous". He is a brilliant surgeon and is a humble person when complimenting him. His staff is one of the best I have ever encountered in my long life. He is just an amazing individual and I trust everything he says.

Dr. Piontek did a total knee replacement on my husband and fixed my shoulder. He did a great job, wonderful bedside manner. You can call his office and they get back to you with answers to your questions. He likes things done a certain way and we liked that. Our therapist also like the way he did things and both of us are healing better than others who had the same procedures. He will try other things before recommending surgery. Definitely have and will continue to recommend others to him.

Dr. Piontek is not up to date regarding some treatments. My physical therapist was surprised to see he wasn't following recommendations. I wish I had shopped around. He doesn't explain much and his bedside manner could stand for improvement. His office staff is lovely and it is easy to get an appointment here, though. You won't wait long and be out within 40 minutes.

Dr. Piontek has a very calm approach with his patients. 26 years ago I was referred to him by my pediatrician for my 6 month old daughter's toe-in and tibial torsion. He was very knowledgeable, considerate of her infant age when treating her, and extremely calm in his approach with her & in speaking to me. When my 14 y/o son broke his foot, I took him to Dr. Piontek. Again, he was very knowledgeable & treated him accurately & professionally. I have now referred several friends/family to him!
