I have trained extensively in several countries and in different cultural settings.  I think this has allowed me to interact with my patients in a more holistic manner, and hopefully improve outcomes.

I have also been the medical director for the Alaska QIO (Quality Improvement Organization) for over ten years.  I think this helps broaden my perspectives on healthcare.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

Dr. List's Care Philosophy

Working with a physician is a partnership, in which I expect patients to participate in their cares.  I bring medical education and many years of experience to share and guide the patient through their illnesses.

It is critical that my patients have some understanding of the disease process that is being treated.  Without this they cannot participate in their treatment.
