Dr. Sunseri is Bay County's ONLY ACGME fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon. To earn an ACGME Mohs fellowship, Dr. Sunseri spent an entire year after the completion of his dermatology training in order to learn Mohs surgery and reconstruction. Dr. Sunseri has performed thousands of Mohs surgery cases, and performs the majority of his own surgical reconstruction. He is also very experienced in the non-surgical treatment of skin cancer with superficial radiation therapy. Dr. Sunseri received his Mohs fellowship training at Florida State University where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (AOA) based on high academic achievement and accomplishments in leadership, professionalism, research, teaching, and service. He completed his residency in dermatology at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. While at Brown, Dr. Sunseri served as the chief resident. He also received training in cosmetic procedures from some of the most renowned cosmetic dermatologists in the country. Dr. Sunseri obtained his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine where he served as the Student Body President. He obtained a bachelors degree in Microbiology from Weber State University. Dr. Sunseri is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Florida Medical Association, American Medical Association, Emerald Coast Medical Association, and a lifetime member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
