Dr. Schwartz's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Schwartz "Dr. Schwartz grew up in South Florida. Dr. Schwartz is a Foot Doctor specializing in foot and ankle reconstruction. He is the founding member of our Foot & Ankle Center."

Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Schwartz "We believe in early treatment with nonsurgical, conservative therapies. Acute pain tends to indicate a fracture and requires immediate medical care. Chronic pain requires an investigation into the cause, and should be addressed as early as possible to avoid complications. Pain and swelling should resolve within a week of a sprain or strain.

Our foot and ankle specialists utilize combination therapies including medical, physical and rehabilitation strategies, as well as wellness-based approaches for physical activity and self-management. We treat the bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons, nerves and skin of the foot and ankle. Reconstructive ankle surgery or replacement, fractures, sports injuries and trauma are all conditions treated."

I had suffered with a torn Achilles for 3+ years under the care of other doctors. Dr Schwartz performed surgery successfully and I'm pain free now. Excellent care, great staff, always get return calls the same day. I trust Dr Schwartz.

Very efficient and knowledgeable. Knows his craft well and gives alternative treatments from minimal to more major so the patient can feel comfortable with the plan. He treated my wife's foot and the outcome was better than expected compared to people who had treatment by other doctors.
