Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. James "He understands that neck, arm, back and leg pain is a life altering condition that can decrease quality of life.  Dr. James provides spine care individualized to each patient based on his or her expectations and goals.

Surgery is only recommended after all non-operative treatment options have been explored and the patient and their families have been educated on the potential risks, as well as, benefits of surgery in order to make an informed decision.  When surgery is indicated, Dr. James provides a patient-specific innovative approach by blending traditional spine surgical principles with cutting-edge surgical techniques by minimally invasive means that decrease incision size, decrease infection risk, decrease hospital stay and lead to a faster recovery to a pain free lifestyle."
