DR. JOHNSON SAVED MY MOM'S LIFE! Dr. Jeremiah Johnson is an exceptional neurosurgeon who is truly dedicated to his patients. As a patient who had a brain aneurysm sitting on top of a tumor, I can confidently say that Dr. J is one of the best in the field. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and has a great bedside manner. His surgical skills are unmatched. He performed a complex surgery with precision and expertise, and the results were remarkable. My mother was able to make a full recovery ahead of projected average timeline expectations. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Johnson was always there to answer questions and provide support. The entire experience, from the initial consultation to the post-operative follow-up, was seamless. The office staff was friendly and professional, and the surgical team was top-notch. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone seeking a skilled and compassionate neurosurgeon. He is truly a gem in the field, and our family is incredibly grateful and lucky to have had him.

Compassionate Doctor
Presented with bilateral subdural hematoma. Dr Johnson was a referral from the emergency room. He was thorough in his examination, straight forward about the prognosis, gave space without pressure in the decision process. He remained compassionate and did not scoff at our hope in God's power to heal. God did it again! No need for surgery. The bleeding stopped and the pooled blood dissipated. Thank God for Jesus and thank you Dr Johnson for your patience with your patient.

Not only saved, but changed my life
Last year was a super scary time for me as I had a leak of brain fluid. Dr. Johnson and the staff at UCLA Hospital took care of me. Dr. Johnson made sure I had a preventative surgery done to make sure I didn't have any more complications or infections. He also made sure I was able to get referred and have an additional surgery needed to prevent any complications in the future. Had it not been for him and his staff, I'm not sure how my life would have turned out and if I'd still be here. He made sure he explained everything that would be taking place, and he was always responsive whenever I had any questions or concerns as I was going through the healing process. Even now a year later he is still making sure I'm ok and I am reassured as to how to handle life going forward. Instead of telling me I've done all my check ups and everything looks as it should, I can continue to check in to make sure I feel comfortable with how my brain is reacting to the VP shunt that is in place.

One of a kind
I went into Ucla emergency room with an AVM I couldn’t move my right side. After meeting Dr Johnson I was convinced he I needed the AVM surgery he suggested and that he was the best surgeon for the job. His patience, professionalism, calm and experience made me feel at ease. He did an amazing job on my surgery that lasted over 7 hours. He saved my life. He is the best and I highly recommend him.

Horrible Dr.
I’m writing this review to share the horrible experience I had with Dr. Johnson. Do yourself and your loved ones a huge favor and find another neurosurgeon. He ruined my mom’s life for the rest of her life.  My mother saw dr Johnson last October regarding her brain aneurysm. Dr. Johnson recommended an angiogram to measure the aneurysm. He told my mom it will be a simple procedure and she will go home the same day. On the day of the procedure he at first refused to come and sent a fellow to do the procedure. I asked the nurses to call him since I specifically asked him to do it. We waited for one extra hour until he came and again I asked him to do the procedure and he assured me that will do it. My mom ended up having a massive stroke after the angio in the recovery room which made her left side paralyzed. later we found out that Dr. Johnson was not in the operating room and the fellow who did the procedure was not trained to do an angio. Even after the stroke he failed to come and s

Dr. Johnson saved my mom’s life and there are not enough words to express my family’s deep gratitude for his amazing care of her during one of the scariest times of our lives. From the moment my mom was admitted into UCLA and assigned under his care, Dr. Johnson was extremely attentive and on top of her care plan. He administered all the necessary tests in order to assess my mom’s brain aneurysm accurately, but also acted quickly and made all the right calls in order to treat her condition correctly. He was the perfect balance of thorough and time-sensitive. Dr. Johnson kindly and clearly communicated each step of the process to us and acted as an advocate for my mom. Couldn’t have asked for a better neurosurgeon/doctor for my mom. We are forever thankful for Dr. Jeremiah Johnson and the whole neurosurgical team at UCLA!

I was hit by a car as a pedestrian and suffered from skull fractures and facial fractures. Dr Johnson and his team performed an emergency surgery - 8 hours and 10 titanium plates later, I was out of surgery and Dr Johnson assured my family that I was going to be 100% in a few months. His knowledge and expertise always made feel very comfortable and I was never worried during the healing process. It has been just over 3 months since the surgery and I am back at work, practicing yoga and hiking!

Great neurosurgeon! Performed a procedure called an STA-MCA bypass perfectly. Staff at his office are amazing and very friendly. Before surgery, I was given a number to call whenever I needed guidance or help pre and post op. They were always quick to get back to me and I felt like I was very well taken care of.

Dr. Johnson is amazing! I have brain tumors called meningioma, it was causing me to lose my vision. I went through a few neurosurgeons before him and they would tell me where the tumor was located surgery will by too complex. Dr. Johnson preformed my surgery and it was a success! He is young but very competent, friendly, cares about his patients and is extremely patient. Thanks to him I can see again. Wonderful doctor, I would totally recommend him!

Dr. Johnson has a great bed side manner and compassion. I came into his office in extreme pain and needed emergency surgery for a L5 herniated disk. He and his staff did everything that they could to make my visit and surgery a good experience if you have to be in the hospital! I would recommend him as a top surgeon in San Antonio Texas. Also my scar is almost invisible 2 months out of surgery.
