Jennifer A. Wright, M.D., specializes in Medical Oncology and Hematology. Dr. Wright is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in hematology, internal medicine and medical oncology. Dr. Wright has a special interest in non-malignant blood disorders such as anemia, platelet disorders and hypercoagulable states. Dr. Wright received her undergraduate degree in 1997 and her medical degree in 2002 from The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston Texas. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. After finishing residency, Dr. Wright completed her fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Hematology and Medical Oncology while also serving as Chief Fellow from July 2007-June 2008. Dr. Wright is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Physicians. She received the The H. Irving Schweppe Award for Excellence in Ambulatory Care Award from the Alpha Chi Honor Society. Dr. Wright is from Austin and is married with two sons. She enjoys running and spending time with her family.
