This content was provided by Dr. Cook "Dr. Cook has performed over 4300 surgeries and is the co-founder of Women Orthopaedist Global Outreach (WOGO), a not-for-profit organization where she helped perform 47 total knee replacements on women and men of Kathmandu, Nepal, who experience more advanced stages of joint disease and greater disability, yet often face many barriers to receiving effective long-term treatment. Awarded the Insall Traveling Fellowship for 2009, sponsored by the American Knee Society which is an award granted annually to honor outstanding achievements in the field of knee surgery. She completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction and sports medicine at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York City. Dr. Cook is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and she specializes in minimally invasive surgery. She is also a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. She is also the Vice Chair of the Board for the Good Samaritan Health Clinic in Pasco County. Dr. Cook's areas of expertise include: primary knee, hip, shoulder, and reverse shoulder replacements, revision knee and shoulder replacements, arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder, ligament reconstruction including primary and revision ACL reconstruction, primary and revision rotator cuff and labral repairs, instability surgery for the knee and shoulder, and fracture management. She also performs surgery for metastatic bone lesions. She treats all ages and can treat most pediatric orthopaedic injuries."

I have no idea if she is any good. I saw her, she ordered imaging then told me I would be scheduled for surgery and then I never heard from them again until the day before my operation. I called and was told my surgery had never been scheduled. Now I look for at least another month of pain and...more
