Dr. Whitman has an assembly line of surgical patients and in my opinion, doesn't do a good job determining the best solution. His staff is happy to put you in the most expensive solution which might have mixed results. Be ready to see a various doctors, all of which have different viewpoints and solutions. I have worse vision with my crystallens than before I walked in. My only recourse is more surgery and a lens on top of a lens with possible mixed results.

I took my father for cataract surgery. The office was clean & the staff were friendly. My dad is happy with the outcome. At the end of the first surgery, I found a card from the team at the surgery center. Inside was a glued-in picture of my dad, under sedation with Dr. Whitman smiling behind him. In the picture, my dad is passed out, head rolled back, he's wearing a patient gown and surgery cap, and there's something taped to his face. I called to express my concern and was told that they would notify the surgery center. Second surgery, another picture. I spoke to another manager and she stated that my dad technically consented to the picture when he signed the overall consent, that Dr. Whitman thinks "it's funny" and they're not going to stop. I'm going to post the pics on another popular review website (y***.com) for those interested. Please be aware that you will likely have a similar memento of your visit, should you choose Dr. Whitman's office.

I have reeeeal bad anxiety that prevents me from a lot of things normal people can do. I was soooo terrify but I prayed and you and your staff are soooo awesome. I loved that it was cold inside for people like me and that when Dr. Whitman came in to do his thing he didn't close the door. OMG that is another fear I have is a dark room and when they close the door while waiting for the doctor to come in. You took a BIG load off my chest and head because I thought he was going to close the door and he didn't. I LOVED THAT.....THANK YOU, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. All of your staff were sooo nice and kind. I will highly recommend all my friends to go to Dr. Whitman. Surgery was quick and so professional and sooo kind. I was amazed and cried when I came out and I can see, I started getting tears in my eyes because I've been suffering all this time because of fear and had I known it was going to be like this I would had done this a long time ago. I can see and everything looks so good.
