Dr. Stickney replaced my right knee in 12/18 and my left knee in 3/19. Both surgeries went very well, and I have zero pain in either knee, and great range of motion, for the first time since the late 1990s. Surgery scars were small and pain was present, but well controlled, for both surgeries. Really, really hit the physical therapy hard, Dr. Stickney said, and your chances of a great outcome are vastly improved. I did as instructed, and even though it came with a lot of tears, things worked out well. My life is back to normal again, thanks to Dr. Stickney. I recommend him without hesitation to anyone for knee replacement surgery!

I did not feel he provided me with a supportive post op experience. I came rob feel like a burden to him as I had more in-depth post operative questions as my femur was fractured during surgery and I had pain that I was concerned about. He may work for some people but I realized, unfortunately after the fact, that a poor bedside manner, even if someone is reported to be a good surgeon does not work for me. I am transferring my care for my follow up.

My hip replacement by Dr. Stickney was truly impressive from the day of the operation through recovery and rehabilitation. I checked in for the operation around 5am and was home before 11am the same day. Within two weeks I was walking without assistance. After six weeks of physical therapy I’m well on my way to resuming all my previous physical activities. Five stars to Dr. Stickney, ProOrtho and their SwithPath Method.

My hip replacement surgery was 9/20/2017 and I left the hospital the same day. I was able to walk up a flight of stairs to my home recovery room. I walked a few times every day by using a walker and switched to a cane not long after. The pre-operation instructions were very clear and thorough, The recovery care was amazing with at home physical therapy, and the aftercare therapy and checkups were thorough and attentive. Dr. Stickney and all related healthcare associates were excellent.

On March 3, 2016 I fell at work and broke my femur I was rushed to hospital in Renton where the surgeon put me back together again. However during my recovery it turned out that one of the nails/pin was poking out of femur area into my soft tissue/muscle. Hence every time I moved it would rip the tissue and feel like a knife was cutting me open. My overall experience was great. From the first appt. to the surgery, to the follow up appt. my needs were met. I had a total left knee replacement. I should have done it a year to two ago. Checked into hospital at noon, went into surgery at 2:00pm was home in my recliner at 6:00pm the same day. Experienced little or not pain. Consistenly took tylenol and Rx anit-inflammatories and used lots of ice. Had good range of motion right away. Could bend to 110 degrees the day after surgery.

After years of pain in my knee from sports and other activities, I decided it was time to have a total knee replacement. Even though I am only 55, I am especially thankful that Dr. Stickney was there to support me and perform my surgery. Between following the Swiftpath program and my physical therapist's input and guidance,my recovery has been amplified beyond my expectations. Had meniscus tear surgery at ProOrtho. Dr. Stickney and Associates. All I can say is WOW!
Most wonderful surgery place I have ever been to. Kind and attentive people from the moment you walk in until you are up and out of recovery. Caring, patient, explaining things. great doctor, great Anesthesiologist (Dr. Rodriguez), technicians, nurses, and other support staff.
Have had a few surgeries and this was by far the best experience.
