I saw Dr Port for a second opinion. He took the time to answer all of my questions and explained in detail. When the visit was over I felt knowledgeable and confident in going forward with surgery. I would recommend him to anyone seeking this type of medical advice.

Dr. Port is amazing. He performed surgery on me for a lung carcinoid 11 years ago and he followed me for six years after. I recently went for a follow up (for recent concerns). He is kind, compassionate and a wonderful/skillful physician. While I was recovering post surgery and had concerns he got back to me quickly and was reassuring. I wouldn't go to anyone else for a cardio-thoracic issue. He is just the best. And his office staff and PA's are also top notch.

Dr Port took care of my mother 17 years ago so when I was diagnosed with Stage 1 NSCLC I googled his name to see if he was still at Cornell. Thank God he was because there is no one else I would want to operate on me. He answered most of my questions before I even asked and presented everything in a very positive way and in terms I could understand. Though I'm stressing my upcoming surgery simply because I never had any kind of surgery I know I'm in the best hands possible. Totally recommend him to anyone

I was diagnosed with thymoma. Dr Port answered every question I had before I even asked. He is very knowledgeable and I’m so glad I chose him for my surgery. My surgery went well because he was able to do it with a non invasive robotic assisted method and recovery was quick. I would totally recommend him.
