I had my first thymoma (cancer)surgery in UCLA medical center in 2012.Unfortunately during regular checkup they found out the cancer cell transfer to other place. They advice me I need to do strongest dose of kimo therapy then another major surgery. Then I start looking around for different doctors advices. Luckily I found Dr Hagen, his advice is very valuable unlike other blood sucking doctors just want to make money. He done robotic surgery for me with way lesser pain and NO kimo therapy.

Good experience on 1st visit with Hagen. My husband had been diagnosed with esophageal and stomach cancer at MD Anderson. He returned to CA and chose to go USC (his MBA Alma Mater) with protocol. Chose Hagen for first appointment. Hagen suggested he do another endoscopy on 2nd visit. To our surprise and horror, he wanted to perform the endo in a small office of his office space filled with machinery and nurses entering to gain access to medical supplies - rather than the hospital wing.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
