Dr. Gold's bio
This content was provided by Dr. Gold "I am a board-certified Family Physician with over ten years of practice experience. I worked as an employed MD for the first 9 years of my career but realized that the insurance based system was not conducive to the way I always wanted to practice medicine. It was base don transactions rather than relationships which should be the foundation of good medical care. DPC, when people become educated on it, just makes sense. Carry a high deductible insurance policy for what insurance should be used for- major, unexpected, expensive medical care. Insurance is what has made primary care expensive. When you eliminate third parties it actually is quite affordable! My feeling is the only way we fix this broken system is to have patients and doctors unite and take it back. "
This content was provided by Dr. Gold "By eliminating all third party bureaucracy and red tape we are able to truly focus on personalized primary care for an affordable monthly fee. This fee includes all visit fees, e-visits, in office procedures. We are also able to get labs, many generic meds and imaging procedures at discounted cash rates. Our visits are a minimum of 30 minutes and if your appointment is at 10 you will be seen at 10...not 45 minutes later for 8 minutes. Our time is valuable but not moreso than yours as a patient. We are available on nights and weekends for urgent care needs as well. We also do home visits for a nominal fee. Imagine the opposite of everything people dislike about our current system- we are available, affordable, and transparent. We practice medicine not insurance. DPC is bringing back old school primary care but using the technology we have to bring care to you as often as possible. We offer a free initial visit to learn more about DPC as well with no obligation."
