Dr. Jeff Ginther, MD, FACS is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship trained in Adult Reconstructive Surgery (Joint Replacement). A native of Indiana, Dr. Ginther graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served in the infantry for 5 years before attending the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences for medical school. His residency training was at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver and Joint Replacement Fellowship under Merrill Ritter in Mooresville, Indiana. He retired from the US Army in 1999 as a colonel and returned to Indiana. Credentials for Dr. Ginther include the following: he is a Fellow in both the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He is an Associate Professor of Surgery for the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. Dr. Ginther is a consultant with ZimmerBiomet teaching the anterior surgical approach to other surgeons and with Exactech to develop and teach their computerized surgical approach for the knee. Dr. Ginther teaches medical students and physician assistants. Dr. Ginther is also a member of the Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons, the Indiana Orthopaedic Society, the Indiana State Medical Association and the Indianapolis Medical Society. He is also an active member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Dr. Ginther is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in Total Joint Replacement.  Dr. Ginther's orthopedic practice focuses on total joint replacement and reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee and includes arthroscopic procedures of the knee. Dr. Ginther teaches the anterior surgical approach to visiting surgeons as well as at national training centers. He also teaches the Exactech GPS computerized technology for knee replacement surgery.

Dr. Ginther uses computer assisted technology to perform total knee replacements. Dr. Jeffrey Ginther has performed more than 500 total knee replacement surgeries using the ExactechGPS technology (as of August 2016). That's more than any other orthopaedic surgeon in the country.
