My approach to patient care is one of a team approach between the patient and physicians. Please do not mistake my honesty for a poor bedside manner. It may not be what you want to hear but I will always tell you the truth. It is not always possible to reverse a lifetime of bad habits and I will let you know that up front. And sometimes diseases "just happen" and have nothing to do with the patient's habits, but of their genetic composition. Medicine is always evolving. I will always do my best to make a diagnosis, but you must realize that there is an "art" to medicine and although it is a science there are not always clear cut answers. If I am late, know that if you were the patient that needed the extra time, you would get it at the expense of others
