Board certification should be one of your top considerations when choosing a doctor. Board certification is an official recognition given to doctors who have met specific requirements set by national medical specialty boards in the United States.
Board certification indicates that a doctor is highly qualified in the medical field in which he or she practices. A board-certified doctor is more likely than a non-board-certified doctor to have the most current skills and knowledge about how to treat your medical condition.
I am trained in the latest orthopedic surgical and non-surgical techniques to allow patients to return to their normal activities as soon as possible. This includes minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery, joint preservation surgery, and joint replacement surgery.
Some procedure I perform include:
Hip, knee and shoulder arthroscopy
Anterior Hip Replacement
Total Knee replacement
Partial knee replacement
Partial and total shoulder replacement
Many of these procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis including joint replacement.

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

I'm an orthopedic surgeon because I know what its like to have an orthopedic injury that prevents you from participating in activities that you enjoy. I'm a former collegiate athlete that was sidelined more than once from orthopedic injuries. It was very frustrating! I have spent years helping people get back to doing their favorite activities by using both surgical and non surgical methods. My focus is on hip, knee and shoulder problems as well as fractures (broken bones).
