I had my right hip replaced on 6–14-17. If I ever need my left hip replaced, I will definitely have Dr. Burns do the surgery. He’s amazing!
in Chester, CT |
I recommend Dr. Burns not only for the excellent outcome with my hip replacement surgery but also his great bedside manner which put me at ease. He encouraged questions and always took time to explain. I'm very happy with the care he provided.
in Wethersfield, CT |
Dr. Burns performed both my total knee replacements within a year. Dr. Burns presented as friendly and answered any questions , corny or not, without making me feel foolish. He visited me in recovery after each procedure and showed genuine interest in me, not the quality of his work, which I'm totally impressed with. Follow up visits have been welcoming and Dr. Burns' sense of humor and calming demeanor is natural and inviting. I recommend Dr. Burns for any orthopedic need/advice you need.
Mansfield Center, CT |
I found him to be condscending and inpatient. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. I was surprised and diappointed at his quality of care. I have seen other Doctors in this group and a few are also my mothers in laws Doctors, whom I have met and spoken with. So all and all I am familiar with a significant number of Doctors in this practice, which are all wonderful. So now I can't get out of my head......"one bad apple"....needless to say I will not be returning.
Farmington, CT |
Dr Burns provided me with excellent care and I couldn't be happier with my outcome.
Windsor, CT |
Incredibly rude physician and staff. Really shockingly condescending. He may be skilled, but this type of behavior is never acceptable. I'd rather find another skilled physician (there are others of course) with a modicum of people skills.
in Hartford, CT |
Straight forward in his assessments and knowledgeable about his specialty. He gives honest answers and listens to your concerns and always answers every question. He saw me every day in the hospital as well. I couldn't be more pleased with my care
in Ellington, Ct |
Caring, considerate, conscientious. Did a fabulous job on both of my knee replacements
in New Britain, CT |
Very arrogant and condescending. He really needs to take time to answer questions and concerns & not rush through one to get to another- he needs to work on his personality! Staff not pleasant as well but I'm sure they get it from him.
Dr Burns did an amazing job putting me back together after a traumatic leg fracture!
New York, NY |
dr. Burns was excellent. He spent lots of time listening and answering question. I would highly recommend him.
Middletown |
My experience with Dr. Burns seemed to go down hill, compares to 3 years ago. A big rush and the worst part was that the gel shots that I got for my knees were very painful. According to him there was no Novocain and a friend of mine that went to a dr. In Middletown did have Novocain in his. Why, is it cheaper? I will never go back again.
Wethersfield, CT |
Dr. Burns spends time with you and never rushes you through an appointment. Another doctor said I needed knee replacement surgery but Dr. Burns offered me an alternative treatment that has worked well for the last 2 years. I am in much less pain since I started going to him. He is also on time for your appointment, which is unusual for a surgeon. I have never had an issues with his office staff.
Very arrogant and condescending. Maybe knee replacement surgery is now common place for him but not for the patient and he really needs to take time to answer questions and concerns. Staff not pleasant but probably take their cues from him.
