So disappointing - you wait 4 months for an appointment scheduled with the spine doctor only to find out the doctor won’t make time to see you. Feels very disrespectful to patients.

I had surgery in 2013. I had a serious snowboarding accident in 2006. When I returned to Tucson after my accident I made an appointment with DrBaron. I was very busted up and already had a hip surgery to repair my pelvis, Anyway after talking with DrBaron I decided to wait on the surgery. He rightfully was in no rush. Basically said surgery should be a last option and if I needed it, he would be there for me. I gradually worked back to my normal routines of biking and tennis. About every 6 months or so I would re-injure my back and would give myself 6 weeks to heal before going back to my routine of sports. Finally in 2012 I injured it again and after months I was still in pain and could not even stand straight. So I made my second appointment with Dr Baron and after a MRI we both knew it was time. Long story short he fought for me with insurance co. Then fixed me. & years later I'm still good playing tennis 5 days a week at 66yrs old. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Dr Baron

Dr. Baron has performed 3 surgeries on my back (Lumbar and sacral) between 2004-2008. 12 years later I May need surgery in my cervical spine due to spinal compression, and even though I have move away from AZ, I am looking at making arrangements to have Dr. Baron assess my condition and if I need surgery, fly to Tucson and have my surgery there. I trust him completely from my previous experience and am afraid to have someone else for my spine surgery.

Yes, definitely! My Mother has been a patient of Dr Baron’s for almost 20 years. He had helped relieve major pain in her low back and neck via surgery that she had recovered from done in 2002 and 2003. This Dr has been straight forward, compassionate and professional and as far as I am concerned I would only want him should future surgeries be needed for my 80 + year old mother. I highly recommend him for myself or family should issues arise. You won’t have a better experience or a better surgeon that is for sure! When my 37 year old son began having problems I recommended he see Dr Baron. He’s in great hands for sure in whatever is needed.

Excellent ,Dr.Baron listened to my symptoms and explained what I could do to help my low back.He did a full exam and explained how core strengthening ,stretching and yoga would be a great help. Very relieved to hear that as I did not want pain meds or surgery. I would highly recommend Dr.Baron to anyone!!! There was a little wait to get the appointment scheduled but well worth the wait!!!!

My lower back has been in pain for years it has got so bad that I cannot stand up straight. So I decided to see Dr. Baron. He suggested some injections to see if that would help so I got the injections. They seem to work I have less pain. I can have 3 a year so I am scheduled for some more hoping to stay on top of the bad pain returning. I really like Dr Baron is a nice man and caring. I liked that he does what he thinks might help before even thinking of surgery.

He was aggressive and extremely rude! He only wanted to let me know I wouldn’t be getting any pain meds from him. My husband brought my report from TMC , he told him to put it away. He never went over my problems and his only conversation was do physical thearapy and then talk to me in 2 months! I have been in pt for years with no improvement he didn’t want to hear it! I was in so much pain after leaving his office I threw up! I was also kept waiting an hour and a half for my appointment even thought I was told he was on time! What an arrogant man, he should go back to the marines where he can be a jar head!! I will find someone else who can discuss my issues with some compassion. I never got his opinion about what is wrong with my back.
