He has experience in both traditional open techniques and minimally invasive approaches. His philosophy is to always provide the optimal treatment tailored to the patient's specific needs. Dr Arts chose surgery for a number of reasons, including his love of science, biology and anatomy. He enjoys making a real difference in a patient's life in a short period of time. The diagnostic approach of surgery has always fascinated him and sometimes requires detective-like skills.
