Dr Santamouro was extremely rude to me and my family. Bad bed side manner and kept sighing and cutting us off while we spoke. Have some respect and sympathy! She should be ashamed of herself for treating ill patients with such disrespect.

Dr. Santamauro was arrogant and had the worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced with a doctor. I was truly disappointed after meeting with her. I do not recommend her AT all.

From my experience with the Nurse to the Doctor may I recommend you find another Practitioner specializing in Pulmonary Medicine. I'm in Health Care and I will leave my comments brief and to the point. I consider the Staff the people who check patients in and bring them to the rooms , not the Nurse and not the Doc. Enough said.

Came to Dr. Santamauro after having a negative experience with a local Pulmanologist. I suffer from the post surgical effects of removal of lung lobe with complications. Also, COPD from 50 years of smokin. Obviously a "high risk" patient. Very positive experiance with both Dr. Santamauro and Memorial Sloan Kettering in my ongoing treatment and being in the "system" of MSK with several Drs. treating and coordinating care.

Extremely arrogant and snotty physician who suffers greatly from napoleonic superiority and aloofness. Terrible professional attitude and pettiness. Will not want to accept any alternate medical opinions or viewpoints ant thinks she knows it all. She also has a nurse who thinks narrow mindedly as she does. Extremely frustrating working with such such obstinate and close minded medical professionals. Not what you would expect from highly rated Memorial Sloan Kettering CC.

I read a few bad reviews about Dr. Santamauro and was honestly nervous about meeting her. She was professional, and just fine as a doctor. She didn't rush us, asked many questions and was polite. We were not happy to have to wait over an hour to see her, but I don't know if this was her fault or just the office management of scheduling.
