The physician was hired in September 2010, and shortly after his patients and staff began complaining about the physican’s behavior. On October 1, 2010 the physician voluntarily submitted his blood and urine for testing. The results of both the urine and blood tests were positive for alprazolam, an anxiolytic prescribed to the physician. The side effects of alprazolam include slurred speech, short term memory loss, disorientation and confusion. These side effects become more likely the higher the dosage taken. Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
