I too have been seeing Dr. Kimmel for shoulder and knee conditions for over 10 years. I have had 3 accidents which required rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders and a recent knee surgery - severed patella tendon. I have recovered very well from previous surgeries along with the PT. As others have noted, he and his staff are wonderful. Knowledgable and great bedside manners. When I saw him last week after my knee injury, he noted the time sensitiveness of it, ordered an MRI that day, and I was in surgery the next day. I trust him implicitly.

Dr. Kimmel has been my primary orthopedist for 30 years. He's personable, caring, and very thoughtful and forthright with answers to my questions. I have had a number of procedures over the years, and while Dr. Kimmel has not performed them all, he has always steered me in the right direction.

Dr Kimmel has not only been my doctor for years, but also numerous members of my family! I trust him with any problems, especially knee or shoulder. He is patient, knowledgeable, caring and very easy to talk to. Not only that but Alaine Miele, his P.A. follows the same "bedside manor". An overall, great group including his clinical secretary, Krystal; his xray team inclusing Hanna and Monika; and mostly his attentive front office staff including Karen, Jennifer and Michelle. Thank you to all!

I’ve seen Dr. Kimmel and also his PA Alaina. They have both gave me a few options for my problem (bone in bone cartilage in my right left side knee). Alaina recently injected the Synvisc-One injection and I’m still waiting for any positive results. I give great feedback for each of them!

Dr. Kimmel was patient with me and answered all my questions and concerns regarding my knee. I chose to have him perform meniscus surgery and it went very well and I'm recovering very quickly.

I called Dr. Kimmel's office after I learned from my insurance company he was a participant. I spoke with Amanda. When she asked what the issue was, I explained to her I was a amputee, while transferring to a knee scooter, the post of the seat broke and I landed on my left knee. I was told she couldn't make me an appointment because she didn't know if Dr. Kimmel would see me. She had to talk to him. I received a call the next day that he would NOT see me because I was an amputee.

I met with Dr. Kimmels' P.A. (Alaina Miele) who was very professional, attentive to my concerns, and explained the reason for my discomfort. She recommended I attend physical therapy as part of my recovery which has proven to be very effective. I would meet with her again without any reservation. A wonderful addition to the medical professionals at Advanced Orthopedics.

A fantastic person as well as a skilled physician. I had my knee operated on and did what he asked me to do and my recovery was nothing less than miraculous. His follow up was awesome as well. I can't recommend him enough

Very quick to push surgery, cuts corners to please worker's Comp which jeopardizes patients best interest. My surgery by Dr. Kimmel had to be corrected by another surgeon who confirmed some critical errors. I would reconsider any treatment by him.

Couldn't be bothered to talk to me instead loudly gave his pa instructions from the other side of the door. Horrified by complete lack of caring.

I had a very frustrating experience at Dr. Kimmel's office. I went in for a second opinion on my knee. Dr. Kimmel refused to see me if I didn't provide him with the earlier opinion first. Why? "That's our policy". But I pressed that it would bias the second opinion if he knew the first opinion. Nope. "That's our policy". I asked why such a polcy existed and if it made any sense? Didn't help. "That's our policy". I walked away. I don't need the opinion of a doctor who doesn't use common sense.

Had surgery on right shoulder torn rotator cuff from a quad accident . He did a great job because I had a major tear . I could not even lift my arm I really did not think I would get full use back . With his expertise I feel I had a complete recovery . I would recommend him to anyone who needs this kind of surgery .
