In 2012, I had a 2 level and preformed by Dr. Chun. My mistake was letting him use cadaver bone. I was complaining of pain after and he didn't want to hear about it. Based on his work, I believe he is a great Dr. He acted like your best friend till you say it doesn't feel right. Then the last time I saw him, I told him I was in pain. Dr. says oh my hand hurts from bug bites. I never went back. But after five years they found out I never fused. 2016 had posterior surgery. Still hoping.

Dr. Chun performed the wrong surgery on my husband. He inserted an implant that we had declined. When we queried him about it he was defensive, arrogant and nasty. My husband did not want a foreign body in his spine, and our insurance would not cover the procedure. Dr. Chun's office is paying, clearly an acknowledgment of wrongdoing. Fortunately my husband is recovering nicely, but we would never recommend Dr. Chun due to his pompous, hostile attitude & thoroughly unprofessional behavior.

Dr Chun made me wait for over an hour after i reached ahead of time for an appointment. The office staff at Summit Medical Group were very curt and took my copay of $45 as soon as i walked in. Then when the doctor finally came he was unprepared and didnt even have my notes from the previous visit from 2 months ago. He then said ill refer you to a pain management specialist since my pain was still present and that was it literally within 1 minute. No evaluation or examination. Stay away from them

Dr. Chun took his time, listened thoroughly & didn't make hasty decisions to operate until necessary. I had 2 prior low back surgeries & 1 perineal nerve decompression when I met Dr. Chun, so my case wasn't easy. I was in constant pain and desperat. After speaking with his nurse, she asked for my records, Mri's, etc and within days, called me back. Could you imagine....his office called ME back! Dr. Chun and his entire staff are courteous, caring, thoughtful, knowledgable, patient and kind.
