About Me

Care Philosophy

The heart is beautiful in its complexity, and I've devoted my entire career to the study and treatment of it. Successful treatment of heart arrhythmias gives people longer, richer lives. For me, there's no greater reward than to hear a patient talk about going fishing with his son again after many months of illness.

I moved from Michigan in 2004 and Dr. Zagrodzky took over treatment of a VSD congenital heart defect which is defined as an abnormality in your heart's structure that you're born with. The results exceeded my best expectation and now I visit Dr. Z’s office once a year for an annual checkup. Dr. Z and his staff were a life changer for me.

I was in congestive heart failure and the cardio versions performed on me were not successful. Dr Z performed a successful heart ablation while I was in the hospital and I feel so much better. My follow up visit with him was very promising as far as my heart health goes. He answered all of my questions without me feeling rushed.

The staff could not have been more helpful or friendlier and welcoming. Dr Zagrodzky had obviously familiarized himself with my information before seeing me. He fully explained my diagnosis, and potential treatment options. He explained the benefits and risks of the different options, including changes in risks/benefits with delaying those options. His explanations were clear and not rushed. He fully answered all my questions in terms that were easy to understand. He personally introduced me to his scheduler, and she was able to adjust schedules to meet my needs for timing.

I have been a patient at the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia for several years. I had an issue with my Afib a few week ago. I contacted Dr. Zagrodsky's office and was assisted with my health issue. I was given an appointment with Dr. Zafrodsky at the Waco location in just a very few days. The attention I received from him and his staff was satisfying and comforting.

Incredible heart doctor. Correctly analyzed that my intermittent A-Fib was probably getting ready to go permanent and got me in right away for an ablation. The procedure was relatively painless and every member of Dr. Zagrodzky’s team was super to work with. Kind, considerate and highly knowledgeable people. The ablation went so well that I’ve not had one A-Fib event in the sixty days since then, even though it is quite normal for that to occur. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend him!

Dr. Seriously is an exceptional physician. He summarizes your symptoms and suggests probable courses of action without medical jargon or hedging. His confidence in himself inspires his patients to accept his advice without hesitation. I would not go to another cardiologist as long as he is available.

I developed atrial fibrillation for which I was taking medication. Then it got much worse. Dr. Zagrodsky performed an ablation at St. David's South 10 months ago and I've had no arrhythmia symptoms since. He is one of the top doctors in Austin for this treatment.
