Dr. Wilcox was a good surgeon. His MA-C Courtney however was awful. She was unreliable, unfriendly, and unable to return a call 95% of the time. When she did return your calls (which was rarely) she was rude, short, and very unhelpful. She was the biggest disappointment throughout the whole process. From reading other reviews she obviously is like this to the majority of his patients. A bad nurse can pull a good doctor down immensely. Dr. Wilcox should consider replacing her for his own sake.

Overall my experience and surgical outcome with Dr. Wilcox was not very good. His office manager/assistant was unhelpful and failed to return my calls 90% of the time (I had to complain to the general office on numerous occasions). In retrospect Dr. Wilcox was dismissive of my concerns of surgical outcome and basically pushed me out the door despite my questions about the success of the procedure. I am in the process of choosing a new surgeon to redo the poorly done work.

Jason Wilcox worked on my left knee torn meniscus. He respected my desire to have a minimal amount removed. I had a lot of difficulty with locating a surgeon that understood and agreed to that. I had previous surgeries where surgeons thought i have disposable parts. This was a huge concern and Jason understood and respected that. July of 2014.
Dr. Wilcox performed an arthroscopy of my hip. Although he is a nice person, his technical skills are at most average. He does labral debridement and repair surgeries but has no or quite limited experience in a labral reconstruction arthroscopy. My health condition got worse after the surgery. I needed to go through a second surgery to repair my hip! done by another doctor

Set up a few appointments with Dr. Wilcox and the entire office including the Doc was very proficient, courteous and professional. The doc gave me realistic expectations of what to expect on surgery vs. non-surgery and what the appropriate steps were for each process. Was very personable, easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the injury I came in for. Would recommend to anyone!!

Spent more time on the phone on hold than with the Dr. Clearly too busy to care for patients.
