I had a follow up ultrasound a year after my last. I was experiencing pain again so I was thankful. Well Dr.Schneier had someone call to say everything was fine. I had seen the results and there was things on the report I was questioning. A friend in radiology encourage me to get a scan and advocate for myself. So we ended up on a teleavisit. He answered a phone call during which didn’t seem right. He was egotistical when I mentioned my friend. Then he just pushed pills. I wanted a scan. So finally he agreed but he wouldn’t put orders in. He was making me wait to see if the pills helped. Didn’t matter I could have a couple things going on, I wanted to make sure and less worry. He is controlling. I was able to get a scan threw another dr and got results before I could get anything from him. When he did my colonoscopy the year prior he was supposed to do a biopsy but he felt it wasn’t necessary even though the other dr did. So I found a new dr who takes action and listens.

I’ve been seeing him off and on for years. I like his bedside manner. I think he’s very smart which makes him a little quirky which I think is calming. I’d rather have a smart dr who can diagnose serious issues who might not always have a filter any day of the week. The only thing I don’t like is he’s older than me which means eventually finding someone as good. ??

Dr Schneier literally saved my life. I have a partial bowel obstruction with massive abdominal adhesions that has made my life a living hell. Before my insurance changed he was my Dr for 20 years. After 5 years of horrible worsening of conditions, crazy misdiagnosis and being turned away from ERs without solutions -I was able to see him again. 10 mins and he knew the prob & ordered correct tests and plan. Very intelligent, excellent diagnostician, kind and thorough. This man is my hero.

Dr. Schneier has not only been my doctor, but he has also been a very good doctor to my grandparents, mother, father-in-law, and uncle. These have not been easy cases and yet not one of us has been disappointed with the care we have received. He isn't God :) but he is a Very skilled, caring, capable, and kind doctor who takes seriously his oath to First, Do No Harm. He listens and considers, unlike so many today.

I went to see him because he was recommended for a condition that other doctors have not been able to help with. First thing he did- before talking to me, reviewing my history, anything- was to tell me I should try a little Valium. Then after actually listening he ended up prescribing the antibiotic I needed. On his way out, he said you're the real deal; I thought you'd be a psych case. It was the most unprofessional medical visit I have ever experienced.
