I recently had a hemangioma remoeaved from my neck by Dr. Leibowitz. My surgery took place at University if Miami Hospital. I was so pleased with Dr Leibowitz caring manner. He listens to your every question. He answers precisely and thought provoking in his explanation of the procedure he will be doing He surrounds himself with true professionals. His physician assistant Dr Laura Duggan was there for me with my many questions. She immediately put my mind at ease. Specials thanks

Do not trust Dr. Leibowitz. If he recommends surgery, run for your life. Not only did he perform an unnecessary surgery, but also botched it. After the surgery I went to Moffitt with reference to my follow-up treatment. The attending physician told me, "Sloan Kettering,MD Anderson and Moffitt are the only three cancer treatment centers recognized by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Not one of these three institutions would have done surgery based on your biopsy."

I went to Dr Leibowitz after 2.5 years of being given the run around after 2 weeks Dr Leibowitz found that I had stage 3 cancer of the neck. If it were not for him I would no longer be on this planet I thank God for him!!! he is the best Dr I have had... 4 years later nock on wood still free of cancer!!!

Ok, if you are needing this type of surgeon you are more likely than not to be anxious or scared. From the day I have met Dr Leibowitz I cannot say I had a single negative or rushed interaction. Two major unrelated surgeries one year apart with multiple scans in between and since. Every visit I get a plain English explanation showing me any results, explaining when and why each particular test is needed etc. Do not hesitate to ask any question nor stop if you don't understand the answer. VG Dr.
