Dr Ko and his team were very positive, professional, and skillful. Also, they helped me solve my logistical problem with where I could continue my occupational therapy. They provided me with script for OT, and surgical notes such that I am now able to join my handicapped wife, (who requires care giving and help in California) and continue my required therapy at Eisenhower Medical.

Gifted surgeon with a combined dedication to excellence, empathy, and confident enthusiasm that puts patients at ease. Despite these gifts, he's surprisingly humble. Dr. Ko promptly took control of a massive, life-threatening pressure ulcer that developed in my lower back (along w/ a drug-resistant infection) - while I was at another hospital for a traumatic injury. Using wound vac tech and a hybrid infusion formula, he carefully monitored the pressure wound for several weeks before suturing in a diligent, highly successful flap surgery. In my 9+ month recovery, initially defined most by orthopedic and neuro-spinal specialist care, his plastic surgery component ended up being just as important in the end. As other physicians have shared, few, if any, surgeons in the region were as equipped to handle my unique condition. I consider myself very lucky that Dr. Ko stepped up to the plate, not once, but twice! (First on the ulcer, then on a closure during a separate ortho/neuro surgery.)

Dr. Ko did my bilateral carpal tunnel surgery using a minimally invasive approach, and the whole process was really neat. You can barely see the tiny scars, and the change in pain relief and function in my hands was basically immediate. The surgery was quick and easy, and I'm glad I could get both done at the same time. I could barely write before, but now I can do everything with my hands again, and I don't even think twice about it.
