This content was provided by Dr. Huang "Dr. Jason Huang is a board certified neurosurgeon and Chairman of Department of Neurosurgery at Scott & White Healthcare, and is Professor of Surgery at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. Dr. Huang is also Director of Neuroscience Institute and holds the Plummer endowed Chair in Neuroscience. Dr. Huang was an Army Reserve neurosurgeon (Lieutenant Colonel ) and was deployed to Balad Theater Hospital in Iraq in 2008 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Huang has a general neurosurgery practice and performs surgeries for spinal disorders, brain tumors, peripheral nerve disorders and he also treats patients with traumatic brain injuries and brain tumors."
