Learn about Dr. Holm
Achieving a good outcome for patients is my top priority. This is dependent on many factors and is always done best through a team approach. I will dedicate my best efforts to optimally address injuries through non-operative or surgical measures but the best outcomes are most commonly seen in those patients who are highly motivated to improve. Good outcomes are attained when we work together on:
Understanding and conveying goals
Maximizing non-operative management
Selecting the best surgical option when necessary
Eliminating intra-operative complications
Minimizing soft tissue injury through less invasive approaches when applicable
Obtaining early postoperative pain relief and restoration of motion
Communicating well and aligning postoperative expectations
Establishing a home exercise program
Focusing on whole body health - nutrition, cardiovascular fitness, core strength
Taking an active role in recovery and taking responsibility for the actions that may compromise a good recovery
