Referred to Dr. Jason E. Carter as part of Ballad Healthcare group.. waited 4 days for return call/ appt. I went 20 minutes early to complete paperwork.. office locked and dark for lunch hour without patient access. Patients had to walk long corridor to find office lobby locked.. 1. one 85+ with third cancer bout, with COPD on oxygen and aging wife trying to assist.. others with similar needs.. I cancelled app't and told them I would find a caring/ respectful doctor for elderly needs!

I wish I could give a negative ???? mark to this doctor, however I’m not going to rate him at all. I never saw him, I did have an appointment and traveled over an hour to the Greeneville area which I knew nothing about, called several times for help with directions, couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone, nobody in the hospital seemed to know where he was located so No I would NEVER recommend this doctor or anyone from Laughlin hospital to my friends or family.

I was in Dr. Carter’s office a few years back. He was great. His office staff and nurses were mean and uncaring. I would not recommend this office. I’m taking my mom today. If she is treated the way I was treated, we will be going somewhere.

Ashley Dr. Carter's "nurse" has a horrible "beside manner" Not empathetic. Needs to treat every patient as if it where her own family member! Does not return phone calls in a timely manner. I was made to feel unimportant by her. Very demeaned!Dr. Carter needs to teach her how to interact with patients humanely!

Compassionate and caring, gentle manner, went over all options for prostate condition, did not push anything on me. Scheduled surgery, and pleased with immediate results. Be sure to ask questions and address any concerns, especially about what you can expect during immediate recovery period, what limitations you'll have, what to expect during catheterization, and how long that may be, think about your situation and what you are comfortable with doing yourself.

I truly appreciated the fact that, in consultation over available options for my enlarged prostate, Dr Carter took his time and went over the various options for medications, the pros and cons of each, and also spoke about laser surgical option, NOT pushing any option over the other, and NOT pushing for any decision to be made right away. 4 months later, I scheduled surgery, it has been performed, and I am pleased I made that decision, immediate results, and pleased with Dr. Carter and staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carters for 6 years and can honestly say that there isn't a better urologist out there. He has performed numerous surgeries on me and his caring and compassion is like no other! Only draw back is I wish he was in JC and wish he could be my dr for everything! He listens and is quick to help out in urgent situations. Awesome service and amazing bedside manner. Love his personality and willingness to go at your pace while still making sure all needs are met!

Dr. Carter after 7 years of being his patient I have learned he's all about money. He judges you based on what you look like and what you're going through. All he cares about is money. He will tell you that you need certain procedures when in fact you do not so he can take your money. He's more concerned about his appearance such as going to the tanning bed than he is about being a real doctor that has compassion for his patients. He started out good and has ended up greedy in 7 years.
