Dr. Chi and his staff are wonderful & caring. He corrected my diagnosis given by another MD and told me I didn't have RA. He explained everything thoroughly and I believe him, he has many many years of experience and is very concerned about his pts.

after many years of suffering & not knowing what was wrong me, Dr. Chi did more research and blood work than any other doctors I had seen. Finally, to know what I have & a treatment plan was the best news I've heard in many, many, years. After 3 years of seeing Dr. Chi & Staff, my MCTD/Lupus is finally under control & I feel AWESOME!!! Thank you Dr. Chi & Staff for always taking great care of me.

I was referred to him by my Hematologist. My second visit he told me I did not have Lupus (I've been diagnosed with Lupus for 27 yrs) and that I could go on pain meds, but he couldn't do anything for me. He was rude when I said I didn't want to take more meds, I wanted to get to the root of the problem. I was at a breaking point with my disease, hurting, sick... I want to get help not Mask the issue. He told me then I can't help you, I'll refer you back to your Primary. Isn't a Dr supposed to help you get better? To find or want to TRY and and treat the patient without just drugging you up and throwing you to the side? I wasn't even rude. I just sit there and cried. I honestly wanted help. It's been a long 27 years. Never have I been talked to like that by a Dr. He was mad and very unsympathetic!

Didnt read my file before I came, staff didnt tell him why even though I was a long time patient why I had to see him. He was dismissive of the conditions that I was already diagnosed. He tried to diagnose me with stuff i know I dont have. He was rude, no greetings, didnt look interested in what I said or interested in being there.Nurses dont answer calls in a timely manner, always on hold for 30 plus minutes. I can't get my full medical records to take to other specialists. He constantly books appointments back to back which is really disorganized. What a downgrade from Ortho Arkansas. What a horrible doctor. Will not recommend to anyone.

Arrived 20 minutes early for a 10:15 appointment. At 11:20 I was called and put in an exam room. After 40 minutes in the exam room, I decided to enough was enough and left. One hour and forty five minutes past my scheduled appointment. I was not informed by the receptionist that the Dr. was running way behind or an opportunity to reschedule. NOT ONCE while in the reception area or exam room did any staff member offer any explanation, estimate of wait time, apology, or anything else. Treating my time as unimportant is highly disrespectful. I gave this a 2 star because I personally believe Dr. Chi is a highly qualified rheumatologist. But with the support staff that he has, I cannot recommend him.

I only went once. I am in the medical field and cannot tolerate being treated like I am stupid and spoken to disrespectfully. His waiting room was overflowing with no where to sit. When I was finally able to see him he said, “what are you doing here; what do you want”, even though I had been referred by one of his partners. I will not return.

I have been under the care of Dr Chi for many years. (8yrs) Dr Chi is a genuinely kind man. He has a quick and dry sense of humor, which my husband loves. He really listens, ask questions and offers solutions. I have never been made to feel unheard or unimportant. When I feel at the end of my rope, he always has a new idea or something new to try. His entire staff is amazing! His PA’s are extremely qualified and caring. A good doctor with a good staff is worth the wait.

I LOVE Dr. Chi. When I read these bad reviews I can't believe we are talking about the same Dr. Chi. He has always been polite and caring, never rushed me or made me feel like I wasn't important. Always takes time to speak to me like an old friend. At Ortho Ar. it was hard to get an appointment with him, he is only one of a handfull of Rheumotologists in the LR area. He will give you all the time you need, so often starts running over. I make a.m. appointments to avoid this.

I liked Dr. Chi. He’s very knowledgeable. I got an appointment in a timely manner for a new referral. His bedside manner has been referred to in some reviews, but in my opinion he was funny and friendly and a wealth of knowledge. My wait time was a bit long but only due to new patient paperwork and me not having my insurance card on hand which was my fault.

My experience with him was deplorable. I was diagnosed with JRA at the age of 10 months, & it turned into full RA in my early teens. I'm now 29 years old, & I have seen several Rheumatologists in my time. I am having great results with my current Rheumatologist. His bedside manner was the worst of any doctor I've ever met. I waited over 6 months to see him, & he took all of 3 minutes to visit with me. He said I didn't have RA, & dismissed me. He was VERY wrong. I will NEVER recommend him!!!

I had a very good experience with Dr Chi and all of his staff. I went in there to talk about my RA. The only thing that he didn't really discuss with me was the bone spurs that I didn't know I had, and what I'm supposed to do about them. Other than that, everything about the visit was fine.

Dr. CHI humiliated me during my appointment. I'm a teacher with chronic pain due to autoimmune disease and herniated discs impinging upon nerves. While I was attempting to explain my symptoms, he started yawning incessantly, shaking his head no with a severe grimace and even covered his eyes with his hands in seeming disgust. I asked what was wrong. He said, "Too much information in an untimely fashion". I left in humiliated tears. My rapport with all other doctors is truly amazing.
