I reached out to Dr. Niska following a recent MTB accident that left me with a fractured clavicle. After getting an X-ray, he explained concisely the pros and cons of surgical fixation. I decided to go ahead with the procedure which involved a plate and screws to internally fixate the fracture. I'm very happy I did. I'm a physical therapist so I see many post operative cases from many surgeons. I chose Dr. Niska to do my surgery because I was familiar with his attention to detail and excellent outcomes. My case went as smoothly as any I have ever treated in my 20 years as a clinician. Post-operatively, I was able to discontinue my pain medications three days post-op and I was able to return to work two weeks post-op. Nearly six weeks have past since the surgery and I am able to lie onto my surgical shoulder, reach overhead, and lift more than I'm technically supposed to be lifting at this time. I highly recommend Dr. Niska and I could not have had a better experience.

Dr. Niska was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, took the time to answer all my questions, and explained everything thoroughly. He was recommended by another doctor (who I trust) and it was a great recommendation. Very happy I went to see him.

I had wrist surgery by Dr Jared Niska. It was the worst experience of my life! My wrist is ten times worse than prior to the surgery. I tried to see him post-surgery and he would not see me but made me see his physician's assistant. I pleaded with his assistant to let me see him and I was not allowed. I would caution anyone who is thinking of using Dr. Niska to find a different doctor or at least get a second opinion. My left wrist is worthless now.

Dr Niska is easy to tell he's a smart guy. You can tell he knows what he's doing and I trust his judgement. He doesn't talk a whole lot, you sort of have to ask the questions in my opinion, but to his credit he gives you more time than most. So, as long as you keep asking, he keeps answering and doesn't make you feel rushed. I'd say have your questions ready! Highly recommended. I had a hand injury.

Massage therapist for 10 years, broke my hands in May. Lost my career and livelihood, and I have 3 children and receive no child support. Niska is arrogant and talks over the patient. I still can't move my finger and it's been 5 months and my hands are my career. I've lost my disability, and he treated me like a criminal. Never even ordered an MRI, and has a horrendous attitude. Moving back in with my mother, I've literally lost everything cause of a broken finger and he treated me like a scam
