I visited Dr four years ago. She diagnosed me with IPF and told me to go home and get my things in order and gave me around 6 months. Thank God I didn’t listen to her and I reached out to other Doctors that put me on oxygen, pulmonary rehab and put me on the TGH transplant. I received bi- lateral lung transplant on Aug 1 2016. Sending me with no oxygen or hope. Never mentioned transplant option. Just go home and DIE

Refused to schedule an appt, I was having breathing problems so I went to walk-in clinic. They gave me diagnosis of lung infection and prescribed inhaler, antibiotics ect... 4 days later I couldn’t sleep because I couldn’t breath, my lungs were flooded. I waited through the night and it wasn’t getting better. I then called 911 (which I never do) Got to SMH, they gave me breathing treatments, cat-scan, lung X-ray, EKG and it was determined that I have Acute COPD, although I haven’t smoked in 26 years. I’m 54. I referred to the paperwork that SMH gave me upon checkout, it said “follow up with pulmonologist” I have excellent insurance plus disability. I called Dr Mylett’s office to schedule and appointment, my insurance does not require referral. I explained my scenario to the secretary she asked if she could call back after checking with SMH for my records, which she did. Apparently they require an additional referral other than the ER.& battery of tests will endured.

her office made plans for a CT scan w/o my knowledge. Then her office left a message on my phone that I had an appointment with her and to cancel it I should call. The office was closed. Poor office management. Also when I saw her last year she said I had no lung problems.

My mother was very happy with Dr. Mylett's attention, care and knowledge in the office. However, she has had my mother's PET scan results that could indicate lung cancer for almost two days and it is now Friday, so we will have to go through the weekend without knowing the results. Her staff is extremely nasty and disrespectful. One staff person called my parents at home to give some information and she was the only one home. The staff person refused to talk to my mom as if she was a baby.
