Dr. Singerman is a very caring person. However, I wouldn't trust a psychiatrist with any part of my life. I saw her for years wondering what caused my problems. Years later I found out I had lyme disease and it wasn't depression, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder which I for years thought I might have. It was lyme's disease and now I have probably passed it to several other people - one being my current girlfriend. I could have prevented many problems had I not taken her advice.
