Dr. Bales is as thorough and attentive in my care today as she was over a decade ago when she first became my neurologist. I can honestly say that her advice and commitment to a sensible and stable medication regimen has made my life easier over the years.

I have found Dr. Bales to be a compassionate doctor. I first went to her when I was referred by a surgeon (Dr. Dale Dellacqua). I had cubital tunnel and was sent to her to determine where the bad nerves were located. I had my surgeries in December 2008 and March 2009. I did not see her again until I had a stroke in January 2019. I had to have a neurologist and would never go to anyone else. I really like Dr. Bales and her nurse Jackie.

Dismissed my symptoms and complaints. Told me it was “all in my head and I just wanted attention” Not only was she wrong she also misdiagnosed me with a mental health condition, when I actually had a serious neurological disease. I found a real Neuro who PROPERLY diagnosed my condition and started treatment immediately. My advice, find another Neuro at all costs. Do not trust Bales with your health. If I would have known this it would have saved me 3 months of a lot of pain as well as worsening of my disease.

Dr. Bales is the best doctor and doctor's office I've ever had, even being a mom with a special needs child as well. Her office is one of the best run. She does a fantastic job listening, referring, getting tests run, and making sure nothing gets missed. She also has fantastic staff that also does the same. I've referred several people to her even though my full surgery had to be done at John's Hopkins. I wish more doctors were like her.

I cannot imagine how Dr Bales could ever get a poor rating by anyone. She is one of the most dedicated, personable, lovely doctors that I've ever had, and I've had many, believe me. She always listens to all of my concerns and has really helped me to manage my multiple sclerosis. Her nurse, Jackie, is an absolute treasure! I love Dr Bales and the staff. I highly recommend this practice for your neurologic care.

I would not recommend this place. Terrible care, terrible service. The place is just looking to get paid and could care less about the individual. They fail to provide medical documentation when asked. They fail to accommodate the neurological needs of the inflicted. If you do something they do not like, they will hold a grudge against you. Place would be the last place I recommend.

I have been trying to get help with a severe chronic headache. I had gotten Dr. Bales name from 2 other physicians. She was highly recommended. Dr. Bales did a perfunctory exam and did ask questions that were pertinent to my symptoms. My diagnosis. “I don’t have anything “. Really?! I left feeling like I was wasting the doctors time. Surely if my pain doesn’t have a neurological origin, Dr. Bales may have some other thoughts about where I could go to get help next. Really disappointed.

Dr Bales is quick to schedule procedures in her office ($$) prior to history or physical exam (from referral) but then neither she nor nurse would take time to provide results. Finally reached an office mgr who stated “I can’t control medical staff returning your results or responding to your voicemail but can transfer you to scheduling for appt” 3 mos away. We drove 1 hr to office to have test done and unacceptable results are not provided. changed Drs who found underlying cause of seizures

Dr. Bales is a wonderful doctor. She has been my doctor for five years now. She listens and is ver attentive. She took her time on a Saturday to come to the office and help with a issue I was having. I am so grateful to have found a doctor who will listen to my concerns and go the extra mile to help me. I highly recommend Dr. Bales!!
