The treatment I received from Dr. Dear was not the issue. I had received the same treatment from another doctor for my knee previously but decided it was time to find a practice closer to home. I discussed the treatment I had with the dr. (gel knee injection) and then discussed the cost with the nurse that booked my appointment. The cost was very comparable to the cost I had paid previously. To my shock the bill came back 10X to what I was told the treatment would cost. I called assuming that it was a billing mistake and was told that it was not AND that the nurse no longer worked with the practice. I was told a billing supervisor would call me back twice now and I have not received that call. If you choose to seek treatment here get everything in WRITING.

Dr. Dear and his office staff in Allen went out of the way to see my daughter under circumstances I could not control. Dr. Dear was very compassionate and professional with excellent orthopedic knowledge of a wrist fracture. I could not be happier with the care we received and highly recommend his services.

Selecting OrthoTexas and Dr, Dear as my doctor may be the best decision I have ever made regarding health care. Dr, Dear is awesome, he listens, is attentive to your questions and makes sure he takes the time to address any concerns you may have. Based on my experience I believe he is a very skilled surgeon and an even better person. I highly recommend him and his staff. I had a total knee replacement of my right knee last week and I could not be more pleased with Dr. Dear and his staff. Wh

Dr. Dear and his entire staff were awesome during my recovery from a shoulder fracture. My wait time was minimal, the entire staff was professional and welcoming, and even when I was late for an appointment due to construction on Hwy. 75, they still honored my appointment. I would recommend Dr. Dear highly if you should ever need an Orthopedic Surgeon.

Dr. Dear and his team were great to work with. Had a catastrophic knee injury and they demonstrated competence, caring and communication throughout the surgery and recovery process. My repaired knee, now four months removed from surgery is nearly fully functional, with close to the same range of motion as my other knee. As an added bonus, these folks are friendly and seem to enjoy what they do
