Was sharing with a co-worker the surgery I had done at Christiana Care with Dr James Zaslavsky, he was new to the team at Christiana Care, but came recommended by previous patient who I was able to contact in NJ, this pt was young enough that he did not want his spine/cervical fused. Under Dr Zaslavsky's care the surgery was high risk, and yet the pt came through it and was till able to participate in motor-cross which he enjoyed. Anyway, getting back to my surgery, he was the best qualified

Dr. Zaslavsky is a wonderful physician that is truly knowledgeable in his field. I have been treating with him for a while now. Since my treatment begin, I have made great progress and was able to return to work. Dr. Zaslavsky takes his time with you, "really listens" to your concerns; he explains treatment in full detail and has a professional yet caring style that you don't see in many Doctors. I highly recommend Dr. James Zaslavsky and I am so Thankful he is my Physician.
Completely Satisfied, Excellent Care!

My injury was a herniated disc in my cervical spine. I was in constant pain with numbness in my arm and neck. Sleeping was a challenge. I enjoy going to the gym. However, that became impossible. I chose Dr. Zaslavsky through referrals from friends. I followed up to find he had an outstanding reputation and a great deal of experience with treating cervical spine injuries. His track record of success was excellent. I couldn't believe how much better I felt right after surgery.

I had a herniated disc in the cervical spine that needed surgery. I had excruciating neck/arm pain, numbness in my arm; couldn't sleep, sit, drive. I chose Dr. Z for his reputation, experience with cerivcal spine surgery, and very low complication rate. I felt safe in his care. After surgery, the pain was better almost immediately. My recovery was much shorter than expected and I recovered functions I thought were lost forever. Dr. Z and his team are amazing. Thanks for giving me my life back.
Love this place!

I had major lower back damage that had become crippling and required extensive surgery. Dr. Zaslavsky did brilliant work. They staff had me walking 20 hours after the surgery and my recovery was about 1/2 the expected time. A year later I have back ~ 99% of my mobility and have remained pain free from the problem he worked on.

I had a great experience with Dr. Z and his staff. After surgery I am able to exercise the way I used to, sleep through the night, and the pain that once was shooting down my arm is completly gone. I was kept informed thoughout the entire process, before and after surgery. I knew exactly what to expect because of the time that Dr. Z and his staff spent with me explaining everything. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent surgeon and someone with wonderful bedside manner.
Top Notch!

I could never have imagined receiving this type of care from a Dr and all staff. Dr. Z showed true concern of my back and health and he took time to answer all my questions. He truly changed my life. Thank you so much!
in Middletown, DE |
One day I woke up and quickly discovered that I could not walk more than a few feet without severe pain that traveled down the back of my left leg. I met with Dr. Zaslavsky and I was immediately impressed by the way he listened to me and patiently answered my questions. Dr. Zaslavsky explained my injury and his strategy for correcting it. Today, I am recovering, back on my feet and able to walk again. My family and I cannot thank him enough for the care he and his staff provided.
in Dover, DE |
Dr. Z is very professional, compassionate, and attentive. He gave his undivided attention, actively listened, and answered all of my questions thoroughly making sure I understood. It is a healing experience, in and of itself, to go into a doctor and feel like your concerns are important and your questions are answered without impatience or judgement.

After a great deal of research, I made an appointment with Dr. Zaslavsky in the hope of getting relief from years of lower back pain. At the initial visit, he gave me a quick examination and ordered an MRI. That's the last I saw of him. Subsequent visits and decisions about my care were handled by his physician's assistant. Several thousand dollars of Medicare benefits and injections in their surgical unit later, I am no better off now than when I first walked into their office.
