Best decision I ever made! After living with pain across my neck and shoulders for almost a year I had a disc replacement with Dr. Z at the surgery center. I was home the same day as my procedure and the pain was gone almost immediately. I didn't have to wear a collar after surgery and was able to start driving in two days. I was at the beach a week later! Thank you Dr. Z and the excellent team at First State Surgery Center. You couldn't have made my recovery any easier.

Thank you Dr.Zaslavsky Rudin and Ginsberg for Recommending and performing the stem cell treatment they gave me my life back. At 24 years old I fell off a ladder at work and was facing a multilevel lumbar fusion procedure with rods, cages and screws. I was using narcotic medication on a regular basis. I could not exercise or play with my children and going back to work was absolutely out of the question. Dr Zaslavsky recommended regenerative medicine with stem cells. The procedure and the recovery was seamless with very little pain. In 3 months I was off all medicine and exercising in the gym. I can hold my child. I can live again !!! THANK YOU First State Spine.

Dr. Z was polite and helpful. My issue was that I had to wait over an hour before I was seen. The nurse who took down my medical history/info was dismissive. In the room, she had her back to me as she asked me questions which I found to be a little rude and disrespectful after I had waited so long to be seen. The room was arranged in such a way that she could have easily sat across from me, and took down my information while facing me. I feel like I deserved that level of service and courtesy.

I couldn’t ask for any staff to be nicer. Dr. Z (as they call him), was very concerned about my fall and told me he would definitely fix my aches and sores. From such a fall, I hope to continue part time soon

I was barely able to open a water bottle. I was dropping my racket and could not perform the activity I enjoy most in life. Despite trying every treatment possible I continued to get weaker and my pain got worse. After injections failed Dr. Z recommended a total disc replacement and removed a large herniated disc that was compressing the nerve going down my arm. The night after surgery I finally slept through the night without waking up in severe pain. I was back to work in a week and back to tennis in 2 weeks. No therapy and no collar. I can't thank him enough!

Dr. Z is the best for your neck. After trying every treatment besides surgery he decided to replace my herniated disc rather than do a fusion. The surgery was outpatient at the Surgicenter and I was home by noon. I felt so safe and well informed through the entire process. My arm pain was gone immediately. No neck brace or restrictions - I was riding my motorcycle in 3 weeks. -Brian

I went through months of constant shooting pains down my arm. I couldn't run, exercise, or sleep. Total Misery! I had failed to improve with physical therapy, injections, and meds. I saw Dr. Z and immediately felt comfortable and safe with moving forward with a disc replacement. He explained how I was a great candidate to replace the disc instead of fuse it and in 4 weeks I was back in my sneakers going for a run. WINNER!!! Thanks Dr. Z and team.

Words can not describe my appreciation for Dr. Z. and his staff. Dr. Z. and his staff turned a living nightmare into a happy ending. My work injury to my cervical spine left me feeling non stop pain which resulted in a feeling of hopeless. The moment I met Dr. Z I felt at ease. From start to finish he took his time at every appointment and even messaged me personally after my surgery. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Simply put Dr. Z. is a class act and I can’t thank him enough!

I had had neck pain for a very long time. It was something that I lived with and tolerated but then I started having weakness in both of my hands. I went to Dr. Z. He reviewed my records to ensure that I had tried everything non operatively for my problem. He then proceeded to replace two discs in my cervical spine. My hands felt strong again and my neck pain improved as well. He and his team explained everything clearly, I felt very comfortable with them throughout the entire process.

Severe neck and arm pain were ruining my life. Multiple surgeons told me I needed a cervical fusion. I am an avid runner and a fusion in my neck would mean being away from my passion for at least four months. Dr. Z explained the benefits of total disc replacement and how I could be back running in just a short period of time. After the procedure by him I was back to jogging on the treadmill in four weeks. My neck and arm pain were gone immediately. I am very grateful to him and his staff.
