The review I posted does not reflect my actual review. I gave him a 5 star review and it was posted on the site as a 3 star. Wrong. Dr Weis is great

I have living with back pain for about 30 years. Chiropractors kept me working all those years until 2009 when the pain got to much. I met with Dr. Weis and he recommended a fusion of L3, L4, and L5. I was not ready for that and he send me to pain management. Dr Corba kept me going until 2019 with epidural injections. I talked to several people that had fusion by Dr. Weis , the last year and they were very happy with it. I met with Dr. Weis and PA Amy Creitz. They were both very positive about fusing L4and L5. I had it done on August 1, 2019. I had instant relief from some of my issues and I’m getting more relief as I heal more.I was up and walking about 2 to 3 hours after surgery, and I am very happy with the results so far. I thank God, Dr. Weis, his whole staff and the staff at LVHN Orthopedic Hospital for the wonderful care I received. I am very blessed!

horrible, dishonest after I had heard and read the outcome of some very painful test, he did not feel compelled to tell the truth. Really devious, hindered my being taken care of by anyone else....but ultimately after many years, found his associate who left OAA who operated with a wonderful outcome. So please there are still some honorable Dr's this just was not one of them.

horrible, he lied about test results, when 2 Dr's sitting behind his seat viewing my mri, one mouthed to one another..." OMG why is he lying to her? He prevented me from getting help from any other orthopedic surgeon or Neurosurgeon. I waited 14 years to see the surgeon I originally wanted see-an associate at OAA. For several years no Dr would help, even though the ones I saw -did see major issues. Finally I went to St Luke's and settled for one who tested me for a year finally operated, a second fusion, 3rd surgery in the spine, plus a failed neuro stimulator grueling surgery, It did not go well. Finally this year-the Dr I originally wanted said at the very first visit, I AM going to help you. A phenomenal gifted surgeon who came back to Lehigh Valley Hospital. I have since had this lovely gentleman operate, it was so worth the 14 year wait. I had sent confidential letters over years not given any of them , the girls in Dr Weiss' office never let me schedule an appointm with Dr McC.

I had the plerasure of having Dr. Weiss successfully 'tackle' a complex problem of my spine (Grade II spondylo, L2-L3). Surgery was a success. No further radicular pain after surgical pain had resolved (several days). He has been available and receptive to provide support in my post operative period some time after my procedure was completed. A gift to his craft. Highly recommended for anyone who needs his skills. An aside...keeps a great calming tropical fish tank in the waiting room. Dr. Shapiro
