I've seen quite a few other neurologist. No others where able to help.I have epilepsy on both sides of my brain. Have been told that's very hard to help. I've now have been seeing Dr. V for 10yrs and he has helped in many ways. He calls me back himself for every question I've called for!!!!

I have known Dr. Valeriano for over twenty years. He has alway's steered me in the right direction. I have had occasions when medicine's need changed or adjusted and he seems to make the right call.
in Ebensburg, PA |
I have been seeing Dr Valeriano since he joined the Allegheny Neurological Assocs group 30 + years ago. Over that period of time he has adjusted my medications as needed to keep me seizure free. When I call with questions or concerns, Dr Valeriano always has personally returned phone calls in a timely fashion.
in Pittsburgh, PA |
My autistic son was having seizures several times a week sometimes multiple seizures in one day. One neurologist stated that he was having too many seizures to remain under that neurologist's care so he transferred us to the Children's Hospital's Neurology Department. Children's Hospital was a disaster for my son and he continued to have seizures repeatedly. One appointment with Dr. Valeriano and a medication change and I'm proud to say there has been 1 seizure in 14 months. What a relief!
He returns calls in a timely manner but rushes you off the phone and never explains anything. He also cancels appointments and you jump through hoops to actually talk to somebody when you need something. It took three weeks for the nurse to call in our prescription and the voicemail is always full so you can't leave a message.
