This content was provided by Dr. Thrasher "Attended college at Arkansas State University. Medical School and training at UAMS. In current private practice since 2002. He has a large research department which allows him to investigate and to keep informed of the latest and upcoming therapies in diabetes and endocrinology. Dr. Thrasher has published multiple medical journal articles, one of which, Pharmacologic Management of Type 2 Diabetes: Available Therapies published in the American Journal of Medicine is being used at Yale University as the primary reference to train their Internal Medicine Residents about diabetes. This Yale University program has been adopted by many Resident Training programs throughout the United States. Dr. Thrasher is an educational speaker for most diabetes pharmaceutical companies to educated doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and diabetes educators around the state of Arkansas to make them more aware of the benefits and limitations of current and the latest diabetes therapies. He is the primary speaker for Medtronic to educate providers in the United States and Canada about insulin pumps, CGM and the latest artificial pancreas technology. He sits on the oversight board for all of Medtronic's Closed Loop clinical trials. He will sit down on your first visit, listen to your issues, explain your disease process and its effects on your health, and go over a comprehensive treatment program tailored to your particular disorder. He uses an individualized approach to each endocrine disorder. If you are having trouble getting an appointment with any endocrinologist in Little Rock, he has a physician assistant, Ruth Clemmons who trained in endocrinology at ADEC and has studied under Dr. Thrasher and has the same passion for endocrinology and treatment style. Ruth can get you seen with a week or less and get you started on bringing back some balance in your life. "

Best diabetes doctor in Arkansas in my opinion. He is very knowledgeable and kind. I am always treated with respect. Would not want to go anywhere else for diabetes treatment!!!

Dr. Thrasher is up to date on the latest treatments and tools to help in the treatment of diabetes. always pleasant and caring for the patients well being. I am very happy with my treatment and will continue to use Dr. Thrasher.
