Dr. Steier has been my physician for 8 years. He is a rare combination-rare in anyone, not just physicians-of brilliance and empathy. “Doctors treat disease, patients experience illness.” Dr. Steier knows both sides of that dichotomy. I am comfortable discussing not only the medical side of the problem for which I see him, but also how it affects my daily life. I know I will be heard, and that Dr. Steier will do everything possible to help. Great doctor...

This doctor is amazing. He genuinely cares about his patients, and takes the necessary time to evaluate and help! I usually wait for him for a bit, but it's worth it--I know that he is spending that time with another patient, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Dr. Steier is wonderful. I'll never forget my first visit, watching the wheels turn in his head as he listened and how I felt when he said "I know exactly what's wrong." He truly cares and is an amazing human.

He told me that my child has arthritis. He prescribed her pain/psych meds which, not only did not help with her symptoms but, they turned her into a "zombie". What my daughter has is pain amplification ("fibromyalgia"); I found out after seeing a pediatric rheumatologist! I get the feeling that Dr. Steier's main goal is to make MONEY. This is very disappointing. Stay away, you have been warned!

Dr Steier was treating my father for Rheumatoid Arthritis since 2016. A couple of months after my father started taking the large doses of prednisone prescribed by Dr Steier he developed double pneumonia. He never recovered fully, and died 2/19/18 because his immune system was so compromised the physicians who treated him said he was worse off than someone who had HIV. Please research dosages and side effects of all medications prescribed. In this case the "cure" was deadlier than the disease.

His profile says he specializes in osteoarthritis but after over a month of trying to get his diagnosis his advice was to just take over the counter Aleve. Save your money.
