My passion for sports is a key reason why I became an orthopedic doctor specializing in sports medicine. I have been an involved in sports my whole life. Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Sostak II "My passion for sports is a key reason why I became an orthopedic doctor specializing in sports medicine. During your visit I will review your medical history, and injury then provide you with options for care. I pride myself on using a variety of methods such as physical therapy, rest, and medicine to prevent the need for surgery unless absolutely necessary. Should surgery be the best option, we will work together to choose the surgery that will be the least invasive and will have the shortest downtime. I will also be actively involved in your recovery and rehabilitation"

Doctor Sostak and associates are wonderful. He has operated on both my shoulders in the past two years and I have full movement in both. They all take great pride in the jobs they do. All are very accommodating with life's schedules. I tell everyone about their services and how happy I am with the results I achieved, I hope I don't need their services again, but I will definitely will be going back to them. Keith always returns calls promptly.

Very poor experience. While speaking to me and my daughter, he continually referred to the wrong part of the body that was injured. He was not focused on her or her injury whatsoever. He asked 3 times what sport she played and how the injury occurred, yet he still got the sport and mechanism of injury wrong in his notes. He was arrogant and brushed off our concerns, and had zero interest in her as a patient or an athlete. I will never return there and do not recommend him whatsoever.
in Saint Charles, IL |
Dr. Sostak was great. He listened to my situations, and gave me good options to proceed how I wanted. I delay'd the surgery for awhile, and then later had the surgery and wow, the recovery for me was simple. Once again he listened to my situation and didn't push things that weren't needed and 5 weeks later I'm good as new. I'd recommend him to anyone with knee issues.
in Elgin, IL |
Dr. Sostak spent time with me, I never felt like we were rushed or I was just one of many patients he was seeing. He explained everything in terms that I could understand. He understood what my goals were and he made them his goals. And it was the first surgery I ever had where there was NO post surgical pain! Not sure if it was the nature of the procedure or his expertise!
in Lombard, IL |
Dr. Sostak is a very knowledgeable and thorough doctor. He took the time to explain my injury and my treatment. He took care of my injury, and I am grateful.
in St Charles IL |
I would highly recommend Dr Sostak. He was not in a rush and answered questions in a straight forward manner. Explained my condition in a way that I was able to understand.
in St Charles, IL |
I went to see Dr Sostak for knee pain. I am extremely happy with the care that he provided to me. From the moment I scheduled my appt to the time I finished treatment, I felt like he and his staff really cared about my improvement. I would absolutely recommend Dr Sostak to my family and friends.
Lombard, Illinois |
I had constant shoulder/arm pain which was relied after a steroid injection by Dr. Sostak.
in Elgin, IL |
Very professional and caring doctor. He took his time with me and made me understand all my options.
Geneva, IL |
There was a short wait time in the waiting room. Only waited 10 minutes in the room before the Dr. came in. I know there were other people waiting for the doctor?s time, but he spent 30 minutes with me explaining exactly what my knee pain was caused by and then went over every option in great detail. We decided the best option was to hold off on surgery at this time and try a pain shot. How often does a surgeon talk you out of surgery!?!?! I trust Dr. Sostak 100%.
in Woodstock, IL |
I felt that Dr Sostak provided very good care and would recommend him to any of my family and friends!!
