Rotator cuff repair in April 2016. I called the ofc that PM concerning my pain meds; I was still in pain. I discovered after having to drive myself to his office 6 hrs post-op in order to see his PA for an assessment of my pain that my call/situation was evaluated by a receptionist! My issue could have been resolved over the phone by a nurse or Dr. Reid, neither of which ever called me, the only option offered to me was to drive in. This style of office/post-op mgmt shows very poor judgement.

Misdiagnosed my bone infection.
Boulder Co. |
He thought my emergency surgery at the ER was not going to be paying him for that I was born with ADS and he did not think I had Blue cross blue shield. My leg had to be worked on a second time taking out the screws that ended up being too big and cutting into me as well as my leg being reset so it was not as bent out from the side and I would be able to walk normal. The conflict between him and I started after I went back to the ER about a blood clot and his office never sent my ex-rays.

I am so fortunate to have been treated by Dr. Reid. He determined I had a bone infection where prior providers had missed this critical diagnosis.
in Boulder, CO |
He always kept me waiting 30-45 mins, without an apology and spent little time really listening to my concerns; instead, he told bizarre stories about himself and criticized my choices of other doctors I used. He never took the time to fully explore why I was not healing well and never showed any concern or compassion. I was never addressed by name and it was clear that I was only a # to him. My new MD, examined my hand , took an xray and found why I was not healing. Dr. Reid never had time.
