Learn about Dr. Moss Jr

Care Philosophy

From the very beginning of medical school, I was struck with the intricacies of the human hand. Hand specialty was my goal almost immediately. Before medical school, I was an engineering major following in my father's footsteps, but shifted to medicine out of a love for interaction with people. I see orthopedics as carpentry and engineering on the human body – a perfect match for me.

Hand injuries can greatly interfere with life, and my goal is to get my patients back to their life as quickly as possible. I approach my patients with the philosophy of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."  I cannot help someone make decisions about their health without understanding their point of view. I strive for a consistent attitude of compassion and love for all people trying my best at all times.

Brandon, MS |
My husband went to see this doctor this year and he was all friendly and stuff on the first visit. The second visit he changed his mind about everything he said that was wrong about my husband. I get workers comp paid him well! He didn't value my husband and his pain. I do not recommend this man. Find somebody who really value their patients!!!!
Wesson MS |
I spent three to four years going to doctors with different expertise to treat an infected cyst near my finger nail cuticle. The cyst was removed in doctor's office January 2016 but came back with a vengeance! Dr. Grenfell III recommended MS Sports Medicine. Dr. Moss diagnosed the problem immediately; surgery was planned the next week. Due to his knowledge and personality, I felt confident that I was in "good hands" and I was. I have been well pleased and highly recommend Dr. Moss.
in Madison, MS |
I had 2 fractures in my wrist and recently saw Dr. Moss for wrist surgery. I was very nervous about the surgery and in general after what had gone through. Dr. Moss made me feel comfortable and was very patient with me. I would definitely recommend him! Excellent Physician!
