This content was provided by Dr. Moss Jr "From the very beginning of medical school, I was struck with the intricacies of the human hand. Hand specialty was my goal almost immediately. Before medical school, I was an engineering major following in my father's footsteps, but shifted to medicine out of a love for interaction with people. I see orthopedics as carpentry and engineering on the human body – a perfect match for me.
Hand injuries can greatly interfere with life, and my goal is to get my patients back to their life as quickly as possible. I approach my patients with the philosophy of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I cannot help someone make decisions about their health without understanding their point of view. I strive for a consistent attitude of compassion and love for all people trying my best at all times."
