His office staff in New Rochelle are absolutely rude and disgusting. I can't believe in 2019 health physician secretaries speak to patients as if they are incompetent and/or below them. He should really consider re-training them in office management or just re-hiring new staff in general. Harrison office staff however, are very lovely and actually help patients with their queries and follow ups. The doctor is not bad himself but unfortunately his staff are a representation of him.

The office staff is thoroughly incompetent. After making me wait for ALMOST A MONTH for an appointment, spending almost 45 minutes going over my insurance plan, making sure they accepted it, I finally come in to have a CRIPPLING INJURY WHICH IS WORK PROHIBITIVE, and the nurse, RUDELY, tells me, “Oh, we don’t take that insurance!” I don’t care how talented a doctor is if you can’t see them because they don’t know how to hire someone who can perform their job.

Dr. McWilliam and his office staff and surgery team are kind and patient and listen to the patient. In a much longer than anticipated recovery time for myself, him and his team have sought out several treatment options to get me back to 100%. He gives the patient the cold hard facts and statistics and helps you in deciding the best treatment option(s).

I had a large bunion that was causing additional foot complications. I asked Dr McWilliam to manage it with conservative measures, and he did so willingly. When it became clear that surgery would be necessary, he thoroughly explained the operation and did an excellent job. My foot is fixed! Besides being a skilled surgeon, Dr McWilliam is an excellent diagnostician, and I appreciate the fact that he doesn't push surgery. I trust his judgment and am grateful to have him as my doctor.

I would highly recommend Dr. McWilliam. I had been suffering for a year with pain in my left foot. I finally went to Dr. McWilliam who diagnosed it quickly and explained thoroughly what was wrong. Although he is a surgeon, we went with a conservative approach until surgery was the only option. The surgery went well. My recovery has been great. I knew exactly what to expect, Every step of the way, was explained. His care did not stop with the surgery, it continued with the follow up!

I went to this doctor through a word of mouth recommendation. This is the best doctor (and a great person) I ever went to hands down. Had my surgery to take the ankle pins out and then for tarsal tunnel syndrome. I was suffering from the severe pain at the bottom of the feet. He explained everything and diagnosed the problem correctly. It is two weeks post surgery and I am already feeling better. I highly recommend him.

Dr. McWilliam is a kind, caring and personable individual who is also an excellent orthopedic-foot/ankle surgeon. His mastery of the anatomy and function of the foot and ankle are remarkable. Despite being busy, he takes as much time as needed to listen to the patient and to carefully explain the alternatives. I came to him with a complex ankle problem that required equally complex treatment modalities.
