I'm Cured! Dr. McKinnie did a cryoballoon catheter ablation on me in the summer of 2017. My problems with A-fib have ended and I am feeling great. Because I have a Reveal monitor, I still go for follow-up appts., but everything looks good. I am so grateful that my cardiologist referred me to Dr. McKinnie. I am also inspired by the time that he and his associate give to the A-fib support group. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. James McKinnie!

Point blank...Dr. McKinnie not only saved my career, but probably saved my life. I have been seeing him for several years, he performed an Ablation therapy procedure on me, and I could not be more happy with the outcome. He fixed my heart...good as new. His staff has gone OUT OF THEIR WAY to accommodate me with paperwork needs for multiple governmental agency requests. Always a pleasure to work with the Dr. and his staff of health professionals.

I would not recommend Dr McKinnie, he has some very disturbing attributes as a physician. I terminated my business with Dr. McKinnie because of a lack of trust, negligence, and concern that he denies having records of EKGs and 3D imaging during my CARDIAC ablation so that I may move on to another cardiologist and continue my care. His behavior of calling my new physicians even after I terminated my care with him is even more frightening.

Femoral Bleeding after a procedure that he has done hundreds of times requiring a vein surgeon to repair his error in surgery follow-up.

I am a patient of Dr.Mckinnie at West Jefferson Medical Center. It is easy to make an appointment and the wait times are never long unless he is stuck in a procedure which then the staff notifies us quickly. Dr. Mckinnie is very professional and gives me as much time as I need to ask questions.

I have been a patient of Dr McKnnie for years. He has performed a successful cardiac ablation and still follows me. He is one of the most compassionate and humble not to mention skilled physicians that I have come across. You don't have to wait months for an appointment. You may have a wait in his office but it is well worth it.

He has use my daughter like a lab experiment at West JEfferson Medical Center in New Orleans, LA and basically left her to die. He is callous, unconcerned, incompetent, a liar, and will not release the truth about what happened during her WPW Procedure so that other Cardiologists can effectively, efficiently try to salvage her life. Run, don't walk, from this man. Remember also he has a Masters Degree in Hospital Administration so he cares about the money only. He ranks with Hitler. RUN AWAY

Horrible Cardiologist. Completely negligent and incompetent. Honestly, you're better off going to a monkey. He's not proactive and waits until problems arise to address them.
