Had a wonderful experience with Dr Mazzara and his staff. After only a few minutes in his office he determined my knee replacment was most likely infected. My original surgeon kept telling me I was fine after a year of pain, redness and swelling. Dr Mazzara had to remove my original replacement. I had to wait 3 1/2 months for all infection to be gone at which time he did another surgery. It is now 3 months since my last surgery and I am doing well. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone.

I would highly recommend Dr. Mazzara as he is a very good surgeon. Dr. Mazzara performed rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder last fall. Seven months later the results from his work far exceeded my expectations. The extent of the recovery of my range of motion is what most impresses me.

I have been seeing Dr. Mazzara for many years for various issues, and refer all of my family members to him as well. He is very thorough and explains things so I understand them completely. The office is clean, the office staff is nice and you never have to wait long. If you have any orthopedic issues, I highly recommend Dr. Mazzara.

I recently fractured my ankle. Dr. Mazzara saw me within one day of my emergency room visit. HIs staff and his PA were extremely friendly and welcoming. Dr. Mazzara patiently listened to my history and after reviewing my x-rays gave me several options regarding the care of my fracture. While other orthopedists might have insisted on surgery, Dr. Mazzara gave me the pros and cons of surgery verse more conservative care and supported my in my decision to not have surgery. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Mazzara with what needed up being a broken sesamoid bone in my foot. After being a patient for a month I was told that they don't deal with foot injuries and was referred to a podiatrist. I made phone calls trying to learn a plan of action between appointments and was told that they wanted to go over scans/treatment options with me only to come in and be told there was nothing they could do. 45 minute drive each way, 3 appointments over 2 months and absolutely no progress
I appreciate that Ryan came to me from so far away. I treated him conservatively until it was clear that he would likely require treatment (surgery) that is not in the scope of my practice. As soon as I realized that he would require surgery, I referred him to another specialist. I would never do a procedure unless I have full confidence that I am the best doctor for the job. I can fix your shoulder, elbow or knee. I am just not the doctor for your foot if you need surgery. Sorry Ryan.
