I would highly recommend Dr. Mazzara as he is a very good surgeon. Dr. Mazzara performed rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder last fall. Seven months later the results from his work far exceeded my expectations. The extent of the recovery of my range of motion is what most impresses me.

I have been seeing Dr. Mazzara for many years for various issues, and refer all of my family members to him as well. He is very thorough and explains things so I understand them completely. The office is clean, the office staff is nice and you never have to wait long. If you have any orthopedic issues, I highly recommend Dr. Mazzara.

I recently fractured my ankle. Dr. Mazzara saw me within one day of my emergency room visit. HIs staff and his PA were extremely friendly and welcoming. Dr. Mazzara patiently listened to my history and after reviewing my x-rays gave me several options regarding the care of my fracture. While other orthopedists might have insisted on surgery, Dr. Mazzara gave me the pros and cons of surgery verse more conservative care and supported my in my decision to not have surgery. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Mazzara with what needed up being a broken sesamoid bone in my foot. After being a patient for a month I was told that they don't deal with foot injuries and was referred to a podiatrist. I made phone calls trying to learn a plan of action between appointments and was told that they wanted to go over scans/treatment options with me only to come in and be told there was nothing they could do. 45 minute drive each way, 3 appointments over 2 months and absolutely no progress

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
