Arthritic Knee Issues
First of all, I was amazed I got an appointment within one day! Dr. James Manning, his office staff, and x-ray tech are very courteous and professional. They instantly put me at ease and explained thoroughly what I needed to do (have 2 knee replacements), but has left the choice completely up to me. No pressure.

Great doctor!
I haven't seen Dr Manning since 2015 and cannot imagine seeing any other doctor for his specialties. He replaced my left knee and had me rehalibrated in just a little over 3 weeks in time to catch a ship. He is also been taking care of my shoulder which is very problematic.

Dr. Manning is an exceptional Dr. and surgeon. He did arthroscopic surgery on my right shoulder about 15 yrs ago. I have absolutely no issues with It now. I had an issue with my left shoulder just recently and fortunately was again referred to Dr. Manning. This time he said It was just normal wear and tear for someone my age and surgery wasn’t recommended. He is very friendly and professional. As is his staff.

Rare Excellence!
Tressa in scheduling set the bar! What an exceptional interaction. I never felt rushed or put on the spot with rapid fire questions after being lulled into a brain dead coma by long hold times like my other doctors with recorded sales & marketing pitch or scratchy upsetting audio like nails on a chalkboard being force-fed to my ears like so many doctors subscribe to. It was actually quick & productive. It only kept getting better. The automated reminders were clear & easy to review. When I arrived the office was warm, inviting and filled with people talking and chatting about their experiences in a general community atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised. The entire staff from Dawn in X-ray, Alex & Peter in the back inner workings of Dr. Manning's team, were remarkable. Erin & Dr. Manning made me feel secure and cared for simply by their relaxed informative interaction with reviewing my records and substantial history, as I came for a 2nd opinion and now have a new doctor!

Excellent Orthopedic
Between my rotator cuff and knees, I see Dr. Manning several times a year. He is excellent at his specialty! Not one to spend much time with you, he performs his duties splendidly. I’d rather have a top notch Ortho who can accurately determine my physical issues and their correct resolution than someone who wants to “try this & that” in a guessing game.

2nd Opinion
We asked Dr M for a second opinion on my knee. My specialist said live with pain or do knee replacement. Dr M said no, used a gel injection and eliminated my pain. So grateful we found him. He was referred to me by my PCP who told me he is the only knee Dr he trusted in Vegas. Thank you Dr M!!!

Commercial approach. Avoid if you can.
You won’t get time with the doctor. Very commercial money-making approach. No personal touch or ‘caring’ approach.

Latest knee
Dr. Manning replaced my left knee 17 years ago. He told me my right knee was years behind. He did such a wonderful job on my left knee that it has become my strong knee. It is still in perfect operating order. Now to today, my right knee was getting sore enough that I was unable to do the things I wished to do. I contacted Dr. Manning and he replaced my right knee. He is always kind and understanding with his patients both before and after surgery. I am extremely pleased with work he has done on me.

Have seen Dr. Manning for knee, elbow and hip issues. The office is efficient and well run.
